We offer a variety of different squad programs to suit every swimmer, and our experienced coaches work closely with each swimmer to develop a personalised training plan that is tailored to their needs and goals.
While we are proud to have a strong partnership with Caulfield Grammar, our squad program is open to all members of the community. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to improve their swimming skills, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced swimmer, we’re here to help you reach your full potential. Squad levels
We offer a variety of different squad programs to suit every swimmer
Development Squad
The Development Squad is the first level in the Caulfield Aquatics competitive swimming program and introduces participants to racing. These swimmers learn the technical requirements and etiquette of training and racing to refine their competitive swimming techniques.
State Target Squad
The State Target Squad is for swimmers with times that are within 5% of State Age qualifying times. The sessions will start to be individualised with focus on stroke efficiencies and constant improvement. Sessions will aim to develop the fundamental skills and technical proficiencies of all four strokes.
Emerging Squad
The Emerging Squad is for swimmers competing at Metropolitan and/or VIC State Age Swimming Championships. The sessions will start to be individualised with a focus on stroke efficiencies and constant improvement. Sessions will aim to develop fundamental skills and technical proficiencies of all four strokes.
Performance Squad
The Performance Squad is for swimmers competing at, Open or Australian Age Level whilst learning race strategies and building upon practice habits. Skill development is a major focus to help strive towards achieving top 8 placings at Nationals.
Elite Squad
The Elite Squad is for swimmers competing at Australian Age or Australian Open Swimming Championships whilst learning race strategies and building upon practice habits. Skill development is a major focus to help strive towards achieving top 10 placings at Nationals as well as selection on VIC and Australian squads and teams.
